When your pet needs veterinary care, the last thing you want is for an unexpected expense to keep you from getting the care they need.

At Vets to Pets, we understand that veterinary costs can sometimes be unexpected. That’s why we offer several payment options to help our clients plan for both routine and unexpected veterinary expenses.

One option you may have heard of is CareCredit.

What Is CareCredit?

CareCredit is a healthcare credit card that can be used for eligible veterinary expenses, along with certain other healthcare services.

For pet owners, it can provide another way to pay for veterinary care when you would prefer not to pay the entire cost upfront.

CareCredit is a third-party financing company, meaning Vets to Pets does not determine whether you’re approved or what financing terms you’re offered. Approval, available plans, interest rates, and other terms are determined by CareCredit.

How Does CareCredit Work?

If you choose to apply for CareCredit, you’ll apply directly through CareCredit.

If you’re approved, you’ll be able to review the financing options available to you. Depending on the plan and current promotional offers, you may have the option to make payments over time.

It’s important to read the terms carefully before choosing a financing option. Different plans can have different requirements, interest rates, promotional periods, and payment schedules.

We encourage you to make sure you understand the terms of your particular plan before using it for your pet’s care.

When Might CareCredit Be Helpful?

Veterinary expenses don’t always happen when we expect them.

Your pet may need diagnostic testing, treatment for an illness, dental care, surgery, or other medical attention that wasn’t part of your original budget.

Having a healthcare financing option available may give some families greater flexibility when an unexpected veterinary expense comes up.

CareCredit can also be useful for planned care when you want another option for managing the cost.

Of course, financing isn’t the right choice for every family. We encourage you to consider your own financial situation and carefully review the terms before applying.

We Believe Cost Should Be Part of the Conversation

Talking about money shouldn’t be uncomfortable at the veterinarian.

At Vets to Pets, we believe you should understand what we’re recommending for your pet, why we’re recommending it, and what the expected cost will be.

If your pet needs additional testing or treatment, we’ll explain your options and provide information to help you make an informed decision.

If you’re concerned about the cost of care, please tell us. Asking questions about pricing or payment options is completely okay.

Our goal is to partner with you, not make you feel pressured.

CareCredit Is One of Your Payment Options

CareCredit is one of several ways you may be able to pay for eligible veterinary services at Vets to Pets.

We also accept other forms of payment, along with additional third-party financing options, including Cherry, Scratchpay, and All Pet Card.

Having options can be especially important when your pet needs care unexpectedly. We want you to know what’s available so you can choose the approach that makes the most sense for your family.

We’re Here for Your Pet and Your Family

Our mission at Vets to Pets is to provide compassionate, high-quality veterinary care while giving families peace of mind.

That includes helping you understand your pet’s medical needs, preparing you for future care, and being transparent about costs.

Taking care of your pet should be about making informed decisions—not navigating everything alone.
